Remote viewing, introduced during the Covid period for those shielding. Click links below for snapshots of the shack and car park. Only WMRC members have video access using their user name and password, this is to reduce the demand on our lightweight internet connection.

WINDOWS PC USERS VIDEO ACCESS
If you are using a windows PC and are using Internet Explorer (IE) then just click on this link to view the shack camera. http://wmrc.ddns.net/ as camera uses port 80.
If you wish to view the car park camera
use http://wmrc.ddns.net:36249 as this camera is on port 36249
IMPORTANT If you are a Windows PC user most browsers need the IE extension. or the picture won't show, add the IE extension and enable it, then click the above link.
Then enter your User name and password.
If these links do not work, please report, as we no not have exclusive use of the router and changes can occur.
ANDROID PHONE AND TABLET USERS
You will need to download a viewing app from the Play Store, simple to do. The best app to download is 'Hik-Connect', the camera manufactures app. I have also found 'IP Cam Basic' works OK, as probably do several others.
Hik-Connect will require you to register.
Enter the following into Hik-Connect (Hik apps use different ports to browser)
Adding Type - IP/Domain
Alias - ...any name you choose...
Address - wmrc.ddns.net
Port - 8000
Please note for car park camera you will need Port 44169
User Name - your user name
Password - (your password)
Enter the following into IP Cam Basic
Name -...any name you choose...
Make - Hikvision.
Model - Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-1
Host/IP - wmrc.ddns.net
Http(s) Port - 80 (for car park camera use port 36249)
More Ports: RTSP - Auto
User - your user name
Pswd - (your password)
Then click 'Test' to see if your settings work, if so click 'Save'
IPHONE PHONE AND OS TABLET USERS
You will need to download a viewing app from the The App Store, simple to do. The best app to download is 'Hik-Connect', the camera manufactures app. Several others exist for OS users, but we havn't tried them, experiment with the setting shown above..

It's been reported that VLC the popular media app will show the camera as they support RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol)
