West Manchester Radio Club have hosted these events twice every year. The 'Red Rose Rally' during winter and the 'QRP Festival' in the summer.
The Winter event is the biggest in the NW of England, outside the NARSA event at Blackpool and had used several venues over the years. Unfortunately suitable venues are a shrinking commodity and previous venues have either disappeared or priced themselves out of reach.
The main event, the Red Rose Rally for 2022 was held at St. Joseph's Hall in Leigh, a venue we have had some experience with. Our rally normal features. Catering, Bar, meeting space, Bring and Buy stall, RSGB stand, Club stand, wide variety of traders.
Individuals also have the opportunity to rent a table themselves, should you require any tables contact our rally manager.
Our summer event, the 'QRP Festival' initally centered around projects and components for constructors, but also has many of the features of the winter rally, such as, catering, meeting space, Bring and Buy stall, RSGB stand, Club stand, wide variety of traders.
